The Elkins Tigers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Tucker County Mountain Lions to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now have a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Fairmont Senior for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 30. Elkins will confront a Polar Bears squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Polar Bears record now stands at 6-10.

The Mountain Lions (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Pendleton County (Franklin, WV). The Wildcat go into the non-league outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, Pendleton County defeated Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV), 3-0, in a league game.
