In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Ethan Rustlers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans.
Next up, the Rustlers face the Canistota Hawks (Canistota, SD) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 27. Ethan will attempt to advance on its 14-6 season record. The Hawks go into the game with a 5-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD).
The Titans (5-14) will now prepare for their game against Winner (Winner, SD). The Warriors come into the non-league outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, Winner was nudged by Parkston (Parkston, SD), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
