In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Newell Irrigators volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Faith Longhorns.

The Irrigators (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Wall (Wall, SD). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Wall was defeated by Jones County (Murdo, SD), 3-2, in a league test.

The Longhorns now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harding County for a B Region 8 test on Saturday, September 27. Faith will meet a Ranchers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Hulett (Hulett, WY). The Ranchers record now stands at 12-1.
