In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Temple City Rams volleyball team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Gabrielino Eagles.

The Rams (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA). The Toreadors come into the non-league challenge with a 19-9 record. In their last challenge, Taft was nudged by Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Mountain View Vikings (El Monte, CA) in a Mission Valley challenge, on Monday, September 29. Gabrielino will attempt to upgrade on its 18-5 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 2-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to South El Monte (South El Monte, CA).
