Missouri High School Volleyball - Kearney Helias

Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Kearney Bulldogs (Kearney, MO), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Helias upgrades its record to 23-1 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Rock Bridge (Columbia, MO) to play the Bruins in a Class 5 District 4 challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 13-11. Rock Bridge won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Marquette (Chesterfield, MO)

Next, the Bulldogs play the Winnetonka Griffins (Kansas City, MO) in a Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference - Blue challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Kearney will attempt to upgrade on its 17-7 season record. The Griffins come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Chrisman (Independence, MO).
