Nebraska High School Volleyball - McCook held off by Holdrege

September 27, 2025: Holdrege, NE 68949

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Holdrege Dusters (Holdrege, NE) and the visiting McCook Bison (McCook, NE), observed Holdrege's volleyball team hold off McCook by a count of 2-1.

The Dusters (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Minden (Minden, NE). The Whippets enter the non-league contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Minden got by Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bison battle the Cambridge Trojans (Cambridge, NE) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 30. McCook will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Trojans go into the battle with a 14-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE).
