The Skyline Eagles (Ann Arbor, MI) volleyball held off the host Imlay City Spartans (Imlay City, MI), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 19-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marysville for a non-league match on Saturday, September 27. Skyline will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 16-8.
The Spartans (23-5) will now prepare for their match against Milford (Highland, MI). The Mavericks enter the non-league match with a 15-3 record. In their last match, Milford held off Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI), 3-0, in a league match.
