The Mustangs (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Chilton County (Clanton, AL). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 16-10 record. In their last contest, Chilton County notched a victory over Benjamin Russell (Alexander City, AL), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Red Devils battle the Maplesville Red Devils (Maplesville, AL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 29. Verbena will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Red Devils go into the battle with a 4-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Thorsby (Thorsby, AL).
