Lee County Bobcats (Beattyville, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball team hold off the visiting Jackson City Tigers (Jackson, KY), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcats (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against McCreary Central (Stearns, KY). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 10-12 record. In their last challenge, McCreary Central was tipped by Wayne County (Monticello, KY), 3-2, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers face the June Buchanan Crusaders (Pippa Passes, KY) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 27. Jackson City will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Crusaders go into the test with a 4-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Jenkins (Jenkins, KY).
