In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host McCreary Central Raiders volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Jackson City Tigers.
The Raiders (14-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Jellico (Jellico, TN). The Blue Devils enter the non-league challenge with a 5-17 record. In their last challenge, Jellico was beaten by Southwestern (Somerset, KY), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers face the June Buchanan Crusaders (Pippa Passes, KY) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 27. Jackson City will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Crusaders go into the test with a 5-11 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY).
