Mountainside Mavericks (Beaverton, OR) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lake Oswego Lakers (Lake Oswego, OR), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mountainside improves its record to 10-3 on the season. The Mavericks host Westview (Portland, OR) to face the Wildcats in a 6A Metro test on Wednesday, October 1. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 9-6. Westview won 3-0 in their recent league test against Southridge (Beaverton, OR)

Next, the Lakers meet the Tigard Tigers (Tigard, OR) in a 6A Three Rivers test, on Tuesday, September 30. Lake Oswego will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 4-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Clackamas (Clackamas, OR).
