In Saturday's league bout, the Lake View Chiefs/Maidens (San Angelo, TX) volleyball team held off the host Snyder Tigers (Snyder, TX), by a margin of 3-2.
The Chiefs/Maidens now possess a 6-14 record. They play next when they host Frenship Memorial for a 4A Region I District 5 bout on Tuesday, September 30. Lake View will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 19-7.
