With the win, Union advances its record to 24-8 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS) to face the Saints in a Class 3A Region 5 test on Tuesday, September 30. The Saints go into the test with a record of 4-9. St. Andrew's Episcopal lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Pisgah (Sandhill, MS)

Next, the Hornets play the West Lauderdale Knights (Collinsville, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 19-5 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 13-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS).
