The Mavericks go into the battle with a record of 17-2. Maize South lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Saint Thomas Aquinas (Overland Park, KS)

The Vikings now own a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host De Soto for a United Kansas battle on Tuesday, September 30. Seaman will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Gardner-Edgerton (Gardner, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-8.
