The South Beloit Sobos volleyball squad (South Beloit, IL), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL)

With the win, Lutheran improves its record to 2-13 on the season. The Crusaders host Dixon (Dixon, IL) to encounter the Dukes & Duchesses in a Big Northern battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Dukes & Duchesses go into the battle with a record of 11-2. Dixon won 2-0 in their recent league battle against Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL)

The Sobos now own a 17-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Boone for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 27. South Beloit will meet a Vikings team coming off a 2-1 league win over Lutheran (Rockford, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 6-10.
