Stevens Point Panthers (Stevens Point, WI) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Luxemburg-Casco Spartans (Luxemburg, WI), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Stevens Point advances its record to 20-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Mosinee (Mosinee, WI) to face the Indians in a non-league game on Saturday, September 27. The Indians go into the game with a record of 21-3. Mosinee won 3-0 in their recent league game against Rhinelander (Rhinelander, WI)

The Spartans (23-8) will now prepare for their outing against Marinette (Marinette, WI). The Marines come into the North Eastern outing with a 3-12 record.
