Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the New Rockford-Sheyenne Rockets (New Rockford, ND) and the host Rugby Panthers (Rugby, ND), observed New Rockford-Sheyenne's volleyball team top Rugby by a tally of 2-0.

The Rockets (10-1) will now prepare for their contest against Midway/Minto (Inkster, ND). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Midway/Minto was defeated by Griggs County Central/Midkota (Cooperstown, ND), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Rockford-Sheyenne for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Rugby will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over St. John (St. John, ND). The Rockets record now stands at 5-1.
