The St. Thomas More Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Northshore Panthers to 1 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 19-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cecilia for a Division II District 4 match on Tuesday, September 30. St. Thomas More will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-14.

The Panthers (6-6) will now prepare for their match against Pearl River (Pearl River, LA). The Rebels enter the non-league match with a 5-10 record. In their last match, Pearl River was tipped by Chalmette (Chalmette, LA), 3-0, in a non-league match.
