Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Oxford Pirates (Oxford, MA) and the visiting St. Paul Knights (Worcester, MA), observed Oxford's volleyball team hold off St. Paul by a count of 3-2.

The Pirates (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Worcester Tech (Worcester, MA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Worcester Tech was edged by Bay Path RVT (Charlton, MA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Knights now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tantasqua Regional for a non-league battle on Monday, September 29. St. Paul will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Bay Path RVT (Charlton, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-4.
