Illinois High School Volleyball - St. Anne over Reed-Custer

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Anne Cardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Reed-Custer Comets.

The Cardinals (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Momence (Momence, IL). The Momence Athletics come into the River Valley challenge with a 4-14 record. In their last challenge, Momence went down by Grant Park (Grant Park, IL), 2-0, in a league test.

The Comets now sport a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Streator for a Illinois Central Eight outing on Tuesday, September 30. Reed-Custer will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to East Moline United (East Moline, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-7.
