In Saturday's non-league bout, the Washington Patriots (Charles Town, WV) volleyball team held off the host Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA), by a margin of 2-1.

The Patriots now possess a 8-13 record. They play next when they host Jefferson for a Eastern Panhandle battle on Tuesday, September 30. Washington will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-8.
