California High School Volleyball - Hoover over McLane

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA) and the host McLane Highlanders (Fresno, CA), saw Hoover's volleyball squad beat McLane by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Hoover upgrades its record to 13-3 on the year. The Patriots travel to Sunnyside (Fresno, CA) to play the Wildcats in a North Yosemite bout on Thursday, September 30. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Sunnyside lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against East Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA)

The Highlanders now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Reedley for a North Yosemite bout on Thursday, September 30. McLane will play a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Roosevelt (Fresno, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 10-15.
