    Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX), 3-2 in a league match.

    Next up, the Panthers battle the S & S Consolidated Rams (Sadler, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 match, on Friday, October 1. Paradise will attempt to better on its 24-7 season record. The Rams come into the outing with a 18-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Callisburg (Gainesville, TX).

    The Lions now sport a 15-20 record. They play next when they host Grandview for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 29. Ponder will face a Zebras squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Keene (Keene, TX). The Zebras record now stands at 23-8.
