West Virginia High School Volleyball - University over Wheeling Park

The University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) volleyball overcame the host Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV), 3-1 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, University upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Hawks travel to Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV) to face the Spartans in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 2. The Spartans go into the outing with a record of 19-7. Greenbrier East won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV)

The Patriots now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Dover for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 5. Wheeling Park will face a Crimson Tornadoes squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Meadowbrook (Byesville, OH). The Crimson Tornadoes record now stands at 12-5.
