The Philip Simmons Iron Horses held off the visiting Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Wednesday's league test.
The Iron Horses now have a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cathedral Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 4. Philip Simmons will confront a Generals team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Generals record now stands at 0-5.
The Landsharks (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Warriors enter the test with a 3-9 record.
