In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Santa Fe Demons soccer squad scored a good 10-1 triumph over the Manzano Monarchs.
The Demons (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Jaguars come into the 5A District 5 battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Capital was overwhelmed by Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM), 10-0, in a league battle.
The Monarchs (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs come into the 5A District 5 battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Albuquerque thwarted Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 10-0, in a league battle.
