The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Leesville Road Pride to 1 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Crusaders now have a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Broughton for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 4. Cardinal Gibbons will meet a Capitals team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sanderson (Raleigh, NC). The Capitals record now stands at 2-12.

The Pride (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars enter the non-league game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Athens Drive nipped Enloe (Raleigh, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
