The St. John Paul II Catholic Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Heritage Academy Heroes to 0 in the Lions league victory on Wednesday.

The Lions now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mohave Accelerated for a non-league game on Monday, October 3.

The Heroes (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy (Scottsdale, AZ). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Scottsdale Preparatory Academy defeated Glendale Prep Academy (Glendale, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league game.
