North Carolina High School Volleyball - Hibriten can't hold off South Caldwell

In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting South Caldwell Spartans volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Hibriten Panthers.

The Spartans (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Watauga (Boone, NC). The Pioneers come into the non-league battle with a 6-1 record.

Next, the Panthers encounter the McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 29. Hibriten will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Titans come into the battle with a 2-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC).
