The Salisbury Hornets held off the visiting South Davidson Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Hornets now have a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Davidson for a non-league test on Monday, October 3. Salisbury will confront a Black Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Montgomery Central (Troy, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 13-4.
The Wildcats (0-14) will now prepare for their test against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 1-10 record.
