With the win, Union Pines upgrades its record to 9-8 on the year. The Vikings host Richmond (Rockingham, NC) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Richmond lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Hoke County (Raeford, NC)

The Fighting Scots now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Pinecrest for a bout on Thursday, October 6.
