Next, the Blue Comets confront the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A challenge, on Monday, October 3. Asheboro will attempt to move on its 12-1 season record. The Black Knights enter the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 1-0 league loss to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC).

The Spartans now possess a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montgomery Central for a Mid-Piedmont 3A challenge on Monday, October 3. Central Davidson will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Timberwolves record now stands at 6-4.
