The Mount Pleasant Tigers soccer team (Mt. Pleasant, NC), was overwhelmed 6-0 in Wednesday's league outing with the host Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC)
With the win, Robinson advances its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host North Stanly (New London, NC) to face the Comets in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A contest on Monday, October 3. The Comets enter the contest with a record of 0-13. North Stanly lost 9-0 in their recent league contest against Union Academy (Monroe, NC)
The Tigers now have a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they host Gray Stone Day for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A contest on Monday, October 3. Mount Pleasant will face a Knights team coming off a 9-1 league win over North Stanly (New London, NC). The Knights record now stands at 9-2.
