Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs confront the Shikellamy Braves (Sunbury, PA) in a Heartland I challenge, on Friday, September 30. Jersey Shore will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Braves enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 6-4 league loss to Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA).

The Indians now have a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Line Mountain for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 3. Shamokin Area will confront a Eagles team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Muncy (Muncy, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-12.
