The Mount Tabor Spartans smashed the visiting Parkland Mustangs soccer squad by a margin of 6-1 in Wednesday's league match.
The Spartans now sport a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Forsyth Country Day for a non-league match on Monday, October 3.
With the loss, Parkland drops to 2-11 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Glenn (Kernersville, NC) to encounter the Bobcats in a Central Piedmont 4A match on Wednesday, October 5. The Bobcats come into the match with a record of 6-5. Glenn won 5-0 in their recent league match against Davie (Mocksville, NC)
