St. Pauls Bulldogs (St. Pauls, NC) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs confront the East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) in a Southeastern Athletic 2A challenge, on Monday, October 3. St. Pauls will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 2-1 league loss to Red Springs (Red Springs, NC).

With the loss, West Bladen drops to 5-5 on the season. The Knights host Midway (Dunn, NC) to meet the Raiders in a Southeastern Athletic 2A test on Monday, October 3. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 7-5. Midway lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Clinton (Clinton, NC)
