North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ashe County Watauga

September 28, 2022: West Jefferson, NC 28694

The Ashe County Huskies volleyball team (West Jefferson, NC), went down 3-1 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC)

The Pioneers (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Spartans come into the Northwestern 3A/4A challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, South Caldwell defeated Hibriten (Lenoir, NC), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Huskies encounter the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) in a Northwestern 3A/4A challenge, on Tuesday, October 4. Ashe County will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC).
