The Malad Dragons held off the host Bear Lake Bears volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's league test.

The Dragons now have a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Side for a 2A South East Idaho test on Wednesday, October 5. Malad will confront a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 league win over Soda Springs (Soda Springs, ID). The Pirates record now stands at 11-1.

The Bears (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Soda Springs (Soda Springs, ID). The Cardinals enter the 2A South East Idaho test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Soda Springs was nudged by West Side (Dayton, ID), 3-0, in a league test.
