The Clinton River Kings volleyball team (Clinton, IA), was dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's league challenge with the host North Scott Lancers (Eldridge, IA)

The Lancers (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA). The Spartans enter the Mississippi challenge with a 24-6 record. In their last challenge, Pleasant Valley defeated Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the River Kings meet the Bettendorf Bulldogs (Bettendorf, IA) in a Mississippi challenge, on Tuesday, October 4. Clinton will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Davenport North (Davenport, IA).
