The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY) and the host Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY), saw Cornwall Central's volleyball squad beat Minisink Valley by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Cornwall Central upgrades its record to 11-1 on the year. The Dragons host Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 5-3.

The Warriors now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Goshen Central for a Section 9 Orange County III bout on Friday, September 30. Minisink Valley will play a Gladiators squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Beacon (Beacon, NY). The Gladiators record now stands at 4-3.
