North Carolina High School Volleyball - Hibriten can't hold off South Caldwell

September 28, 2022: Lenoir, NC 28645

In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting South Caldwell Spartans volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Hibriten Panthers.

The Spartans (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Watauga (Boone, NC). The Pioneers come into the Northwestern 3A/4A battle with a 14-1 record. In their last battle, Watauga nudged Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC) in a Northwestern 3A/4A battle, on Monday, October 3. Hibriten will attempt to advance on its 10-6 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 1-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).
