Illinois High School Volleyball - St. Bede nudged by Mendota

The St. Bede Bruins volleyball team (Peru, IL), was nudged 2-1 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Mendota Trojans (Mendota, IL)

The Trojans (5-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Comets enter the Three Rivers challenge with a 17-4 record. In their last challenge, Newman Central Catholic was nudged by Dixon (Dixon, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bruins meet the Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Tuesday, October 4. St. Bede will attempt to move on its 7-14 season record. The Boilermakers enter the challenge with a 8-16 record after their 2-0 league loss to Princeton (Princeton, IL).
