California High School Volleyball - Nevada Union over Oakmont

The Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) volleyball overcame the visiting Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA), 3-0 in Wednesday's league outing.

With the win, Nevada Union upgrades its record to 11-17 on the year. The Miners travel to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA) to play the Bruins in a Foothill Valley League bout on Monday, October 3. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Ponderosa won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA)

The Vikings now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they host Placer for a Foothill Valley League bout on Monday, October 3. Oakmont will play a Hillmen squad coming off a 3-0 league win over West Park (Roseville, CA). The Hillmen record now stands at 4-7.
