Kentucky High School Volleyball - Newport overwhelmed by Newport Central Catholic

September 28, 2022: Newport, KY 41071

In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Newport Wildcats.

The Thoroughbreds (12-12) will now prepare for their battle against Archbishop McNicholas (Cincinnati, OH). The Rockets come into the Greater Catholic - Coed battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Archbishop McNicholas achieved victory over Williamsburg (Williamsburg, OH), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the St. Patrick Saints (Maysville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 29. Newport will attempt to advance on its 6-13 season record.
