North Carolina High School Volleyball - Polk County over R-S Central

Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Wolverines clash with the West Henderson Falcons (Hendersonville, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, October 4. Polk County will attempt to advance on its 16-1 season record. The Falcons come into the match with a 18-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Pisgah (Canton, NC).

With the loss, R-S Central drops to 8-9 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Patton (Morganton, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A match on Tuesday, October 4. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 10-4.
