North Carolina High School Volleyball - Union Pines can't hold off Scotland

September 28, 2022: Laurinburg, NC 28352

In Wednesday's league battle, the host Scotland Fighting Scots volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Union Pines Vikings.

The Fighting Scots (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Patriots come into the Sandhills 3A/4A battle with a 16-2 record.

Next, the Vikings encounter the Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) in a Sandhills 3A/4A battle, on Tuesday, October 4. Union Pines will attempt to move on its 10-7 season record. The Raiders come into the battle with a 8-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hoke County (Raeford, NC).
