In Thursday's league battle, the host East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans soccer squad scored a close 5-0 triumph over the Central Square Redhawks.

The Spartans (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Fayetteville-Manlius (Manlius, NY). The Hornets come into the OHSL- Freedom National battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Fayetteville-Manlius was overwhelmed by Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY), 3-1, in a league battle.

The Redhawks (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY). The Northstars come into the Section 3 CNYCL battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Cicero-North Syracuse nudged Baldwinsville (Baldwinsville, NY), 2-0, in a league battle.
