The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Althoff Catholic Crusaders (Belleville, IL) and the visiting Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL), saw Althoff Catholic's volleyball squad beat Metro-East Lutheran by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Althoff Catholic upgrades its record to 11-4 on the year. The Crusaders host Wesclin (Trenton, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, October 2. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

The Knights now own a 1-3 record.
