The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) and the visiting Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC), saw Cape Fear's volleyball squad beat Seventy-First by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Cape Fear upgrades its record to 15-1 on the year. The Colts travel to Cleveland (Clayton, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Monday, October 2. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 13-2. Cleveland won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC)

The Falcons now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Jack Britt for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 3.
