In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Caroline Cavaliers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the James Monroe Yellow Jackets.
The Cavaliers (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Spotsylvania nudged Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Yellow Jackets clash with the Chancellor Chargers (Fredericksburg, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 3. James Monroe will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record. The Chargers come into the battle with a 9-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Eastern View (Culpeper, VA).
